Privacy Policy

Quiet Recall stores your decks, cards, review history, active study session, and preferences on your device. The developer does not collect or receive this information.

Data storage

App data is stored in Quiet Recall's local Application Support directory. It remains there until you delete it in the app, uninstall the app, or restore a different backup.

You can export a JSON backup to a location you choose. Exported files are outside Quiet Recall's control. You can import a backup you select; restoring it replaces the current local library.

On-device AI

On supported devices, Explain with AI uses Apple's Foundation Models framework. The card content needed for an explanation is processed by Apple's on-device language model and is not sent to the developer.

Files and network services

Quiet Recall reads a file only after you select it and writes a file only after you choose an export location. The app has no developer-operated account service, cloud sync, advertising, analytics SDK, or tracking SDK.

Apple may process App Store purchases and diagnostics under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. Quiet Recall does not receive payment details from the app.

Your choices

Delete a card or deck from its menu, or use Settings > Reset all data to remove the local library and preferences. Removing the app also removes its local data. Delete exported backup files from their saved locations separately.
